FREE admission for kids this Saturday!

Speedway Staff (April 29, 2025) - After two weeks of being shuttered indoors thanks to relentless rain makers, it’s KIDS NIGHT at the Salina Highbanks Speedway this Saturday night. All kids 12 & under will receive FREE general admission into the grandstands to watch the exciting action of NASCAR’s Advanced Auto Parts weekly racing series.

B-Mods, Super Stocks, Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks and two classes of Trophy Cars will once again be on display at northeast Oklahoma’s speed plant. With minimal racing activity throughout the entire state the last couple of weeks, race teams are chomping at the bit to get their cars onto the racing surface to feel the power that dirt track racing brings to the soul.

Looking at the week long forecast, the weather gods are showing temperatures to be in the mid to upper 70’s Saturday night along with DRY WEATHER for a change! This is the perfect season for being out as the cold is gone and the summer humidity is still a few weeks away so take full advantage of this time while you can as awesome spring weather only lasts so long.

First time coming to the Salina Highbanks? Here are some notes of interest:

• Track is located on Highway 20 just west of the town of Salina
• Parking is Free to all that enter the parking lot
• There is a trolley that will take you from the parking lot to the ticket window. Just look for it!
• Spectator gates and the Finishline Restaurant each open at 5pm
• Hot laps at 6:30pm with racing starting at 7pm
• Finishline Restaurant is located on the second level of the facility
• Finishline Restaurant is open up to1 hour after the final race of the night
• There are general concessions as well including but not limited to: Hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, BBQ ribs, BBQ sandwiches, various beverages and more!

So bring those little ones by the car load and we will let them have a FREE experience this Saturday night with all kinds of racing action to take in. Adult GA is only $10 with Military Vets getting the special $5 rate as the Highbanks is always grateful to our veterans!
