Salina Highbanks Speedway
Allen Frailey Memorial Event This Weekend
This weekend, the Salina Highbanks Speedway will be hosting the Allen Frailey Memorial. Frailey, who was from nearby Chouteau Oklahoma, was an accomplished dirt track racer in the northeastern part of Oklahoma where he won multiple feature events around the region. Frailey passed away in 2013 as the result of an auto accident while he was still tabulating victory wins at area racetracks. If Frailey had been racing these past 12 years, it would be amazing to see how he would be able to add more trophies to what was an already large collection of victory hardware. This event is conducted in Frailey's honor.
Frailey's brother Randy and nephew Jeran currently sit in positions two and three respectively in the 2025 point standings of the AmeriFlex Hose and Accessories factory stock division. Allen has a son Lane who is a participant in the class as well. This is sure to be both a proud and emotional night for the entire Frailey family.
If you didnt make it out last Saturday night here are the winners from each division:
B-Mods: Mitch Keeter who made his trip from Webb City Missouri worth his drive to town.
Super Stocks: Braden Jarvis from nearby Claremore Oklahoma
Factory Stocks: Brandon Jarvis - giving the Jarvis pilots a night to be proud of.
Pure Stocks: Charles Bumgarner who bested Larrett Daniels giving Tahlequah Oklahoma bragging rights for their 1 - 2 finish
Rear Wheel Trophy Cars: William Avila who made it a 3-peat for the Moore Oklahoma pilot
Front Wheel Trophy Cars: Joshua Deason who stifled Anthony Smith's bid for a 3-peat (Smith was second)
In total, there were over 100 racing machines that participated last weekend. All of these racing classes will be in action again. Here is your need to know information for the event:
