After last weekends thrilling show featuring the ASCS sprint cars at the speed plant known as the Salina Highbanks Speedway, this coming weekend will see the return of a full slate of the O’Reilly / NASCAR regional racing machines. It will be Autism Awareness night as we acknowledge and honor those with autism challenges. B-mods, factory stocks and pure stocks along with front and rear wheel drive trophy cars will compete on the racetrack in their respectable classes.
Three of the five classes (B-mods, factory stocks and pure stocks) got their O’Reilly / NASCAR racing season started during the ASCS sprint car event last weekend. Saturday night will mark the season beginning for the two trophy car classes at the speedway. As always, parking is free and the Finishline Restaurant will be open on the upper level of the grandstands where you can order some of the finest food you will ever see a racetrack make available to you.
