With unfavorable weather becoming an issue last weekend for Autism Awareness Night causing the event to be cancelled at the Salina Highbanks Speedway, the Autism Awareness program has been reset to take place this coming Saturday night at the speedway.
The O’Reilly / NASCAR regional racing series will be in action for Autism Awareness Night as we acknowledge and honor those with autism challenges. B-mods, factory stocks and pure stocks along with front and rear wheel drive trophy cars will compete on the racetrack in their respectable classes. All classes will be competing for valuable track and NASCAR national points.
With the exception of interruptions by Mother Nature at racetracks all throughout the region to date, the 2026 racing season is in full swing. Cars are fresh and ready to fire, drivers are anxious to take to the wheel and race fans are eager to see some competitive high speed action to fulfill their racing fix and the Highbanks is very much ready to produce the show!
Parking is free and as a reminder to everyone, the Finishline Restaurant will be open on the upper level of the grandstands. Grilled steaks, seafood and pasta dinners can be had right here at your local dirt tack as well as a slew of other flavorful dishes. The Finishline is open on race nights till one hour after the final checked flag of the evening. It’s an experience you will enjoy and leave you wanting to come back for more! For those preferring a more traditional concession experience, those areas are located on the main concourse level of the grandstands.
Get ready to feel the ground shake beneath you with thunderous racing machines here at the Highbanks and we will see you this Saturday, April 25th, for Autism Awareness Night!
