Coming this Saturday night at the Salina Highbanks Speedway is the annual program in honor of a racer and friend that we lost thirteen years ago, Allen Frailey. Race fans in these parts of northeastern Oklahoma know the name Allen Frailey all to well. Hailing from Chouteau Oklahoma, Allen was quite successful at multiple racetracks in the region with numerous victories, especially at the Salina Highbanks. The Frailey name reaches far and wide as Allen’s family operates Frailey’s Recycling, a multi-location business. In addition to Allen’s racing history here at the Highbanks, the Frailey names speeding around the 3/8-mile dirt oval in 2026 thus far include: Randy Frailey (brother), Jeran & Landon Frailey (nephews), Lane and Jacoby Frailey (sons). They all have competed in the factory stock division except for Jacoby who ran in the pure stock class. Jeran currently has the point lead in the factory stock division but only by a single point over Dylan Cantwell of Salina. For the Frailey’s, this is truly a family happening and they will be running with Allen in their hearts this Saturday night.
We invite each and every one of you to come out and watch the Frailey’s and all the racers that will be in action this weekend. The other O’Reilly / NASCAR classes that will be in action with the factory stocks include the B-Mods, pure stocks and trophy cars (front and rear wheel drive classes). Waiting in the wings......... May 23rd is Joe Duvall’s Funkadelic Dirt Track & Honky Tonk Extravaganza modified race. This special event is under the URSA umbrella and will have the Heartland Modified and American Racer
tours running together. Be here for this one too! Grandstand admission prices for the Allen Frailey Memorial are: Adults $10 with military guests just $5 and youngsters 12 & under also just $5
If you would like to be in the pit area and see these teams up close and witness them work on their cars, the pit area admissions are $30 for adults and $20 for the kids. If you haven’t been to the Highbanks, there is a great grandstand section on the backstretch with a quality PA system in the pit area you typically will not get elsewhere.

Racing action at its very finest starts at 7pm *The Finishline is open up to one hour after the racing has
