The first Saturday in June is acknowledged as National Family Recreation Day throughout the country. This week, it will be round number six of the O’REILLY / NASCAR local racing series at the Salina Highbanks. For several years, the Highbanks has been a popular entertainment venue for families to converge upon for an evening of family togetherness, continuity and enjoyment. Over these years, the racetrack has witnessed boys and girls become young adults and young adults flourishing to having families of their own. It has been a pleasure to have so many families attend the events at the Highbanks for so long and National Family Recreation Day seems fitting to once again be at the races together!
The O’REILLY / NASCAR racing divisions are once again ready to provide the wild, crazy and exciting auto racing action for your recreational enjoyment. Dawson Roofing B-mods, Ameri-Flex Hose factory stocks, S&J Plumbing pure stocks and Colvin Aircraft front and rear wheel drive trophy cars will zoom around the dirt oval looking for that ultimate thrill of exuberant victory as fans cheer on their favorite drivers to the finish.

Dalton Ragsdale of Muskogee OK. is currently 2nd
Mitch Keeter of Webb City MO. is 4th (last years Oklahoma State NASCAR champion)
Justin Shoemaker of Inola OK is 6th
Dylan Cantwell of Salina OK is 14th
This is out of 680 drivers from across the nation currently shown on NASCAR’s 2026 points list. Trevor Ward of Winston-Salem NC currently leads the pack.
