This Saturday night at the Salina Highbanks Speedway will see a Powder Puff event on the program added to the regular O’REILLY / NASCAR weekly series racing action. The annual Powder Puff race will bring ladies together with very limited racing experience or none whatsoever to race around the speedway.
The Powder Puff race will take place at the conclusion of the regular racing program consisting of: Dawson Roofing B-mods, Ameri-Flex Hose factory stocks, S&J Plumbing pure stocks, Colvin Aircraft interceptors and Colvin Aircraft tuners. The ladies participating in the Powder Puff race will get a true sensation of what it is actually like to wheel these race cars at speed. This will be an interesting race to witness for the fans so come check these gals out and lets see what they can do!
Last week's O’REILLY / NASCAR racing action saw the following drivers score victories:
Mitch Keeter from Webb City, Mo. snared his 9th win at the Highbanks in the B-mod division.
J.D. Choate of Ponca City won in his second track appearance of the year in factory stocks.
Christopher Patterson of Muldrow notched his second Highbanks win of the season.
Robert Lackey of OKC got win number three in the Interceptor class.
Travyn Myrick from Watts won for the second week in a row in the Tuners.

Want to remind all the kids and their parents that on August 8th, it will be bicycle racing night so get those bikes tuned up and bring them to the track that night for some fun! Here is your ticket and pit pass pricing information for this weekend:
Adult GA: $10
Military guests: $5
Kids 6-12: $5

Engine heat / Hot laps: 6:30pm
