Hanks Set for Debut at Salina Highbanks Speedway Saturday With ASCS National Tour

Inside Line Promotions – BURLISON, Tenn. (Aug. 13, 2014) – Brandon Hanks enjoys new challenges, which is exactly what Saturday entails.

Hanks will tackle Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Okla., with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour for the first time in his career.

“I look forward to going to a new race track,” he said. “I like trying new stuff. It’s like I step up my game whenever I go somewhere new because you don’t know what to expect.”

Hanks said his goal is the same as it is at every other race.

“I just want to lock into the feature if I can and hopefully we can knock out a top 10,” he said. “It’s kind of a disadvantage because all of the guys we race with have been there multiple times. I’m usually pretty good about quickly learning what I need to do.”

Hanks has earned a pair of top-10 finishes in 10 features with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour this season. He currently ranks 11th in the championship standings despite the limited schedule.
