Salina Highbanks Speedway
2017 Events Schedule Released Today
Here is the first look at the 2017 Event Schedule for the Salina Highbanks Speedway. We are still looking at adding sponsors to each night of racing and maybe some more events as we are still in the process of booking dates. We are looking forward to one new event with the World of Outlaws Late Models taking to the Highbanks in their first ever appearance at the track. The World of Outlaws Sprint cars will be back October 21 and will be a great night with the A modified set to run with them again on this super fast speedway.
Weekly racing will once again be with the NASCAR Whelen All American Series. With 20 nights on tap for 2017 all four division will be able to compete for national and state honors. Seven Drivers from the speedway were eligible for the National Banquet held this past weekend in Charlotte North Carolina.
The Oil Capital Racing Series sprint cars will join us for two race this year one in June 24th and other August 26th. The August race will be the Ameriflex Hose Challenge race.
MLRA and MARS late models series are teaming back up again for the 4th Annual Freedom Classic and as always there will be fireworks both on and off the track.
USMTS will make be making its way back to the Highbanks for the ever so popular Salute to the Veteran Race. This is one of the greatest events all year and with some new things in the works we are sure it will be even bigger and better. The 4th Annual Sooner Showdown is back on slate for its three day power weekend featuring the big stars of the USMTS and local modified drivers from around the area shooting it out for the big prize.
We hope to see all of our great fans return to the speedway in 2017 and look forward to sharing an exciting year with you! Without you guys this awesome sport or track would not be possible. See You Soon!
