NASCAR weekly racing returns Saturday

The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series returns for more action this Saturday. The evening will also present a special race among the mechanics from some of the teams that race regularly on the Salina Highbanks. The 'Mechanics Race' is a fun filled event where the guys (or gals) turning the wrenches for their driver will now get a chance to show what they are able to do behind the wheel of a race car. In some cases, they do quite well and in other cases, not so much which makes this one-off race a blast to watch.

All six of the regular classes will be pounding the clay during the night. Servpro of Mayes & Wagoner Counties B -Mods, Dawson Roofing Super Stocks, AmeriFlex Hose Factory Stocks, S&J Plumbing Pure Stocks and Colvin Aircraft FWD and RWD Trophy Cars will produce spark flying and fender rubbing action!

Attention B-Mod racers........
Effective this weekend, your overall payout has just increased! For the remainder of the regular racing season and for an event car count of eighteen participants or more, the winner of the B-Mod class will now get to deposit a cool $1,000 for winning your feature event with additional finishing positions also paying extra as well. Cha Ching!
